The Seven Ancient Heart Imagery Exercises – Exercise Four (“The Table”)

The Seven Ancient Heart Imagery Exercises – Exercise Four (“The Table”)

(excerpt from the book “Heart Imagery: A Path To Enlightenment” by Daniel Mitel)

  • Place the tip of your tongue on the roof of your mouth; roll your tongue backwards as much as possible; if you can touch the uvula or even go deeper inside the nasal cavity, then you can literally help your energy move up into the brain and work with your pituitary and pineal gland.

  • Sit on a yoga mat keeping your spine as straight as possible and your palms flat on the rug; the legs must be perfectly straight

  • Lower your chin until it almost touches your chest; then inhale using the reversed breathing. As you inhale, raise your body, and at the same time, bend your knees so that your legs, from the knees down, are practically straight up and down.

  • Hold this position for three seconds, and exhale returning to the initial position.

  • Hold your breath for three-seconds (you are empty) and do another set.

  • Do three, six, nine or twelve sets.

  • When you finish the whole exercise do it one more time mentally with your eyes closed; try to feel the effect of the exercise even if you are not doing it physically.
