Inner Vibration Meditation (excerpt from the book “This Now Is Eternity”)

  • Go into the heart and keep the tongue touching the roof of the mouth

  • Send your love to Mother Earth.

  • Visualize the five main chakras: the perineum chakra, the navel chakra, the heart chakra, the third eye chakra, the crown chakra; Go to each of them and feel them; each chakra has a feeling, a sensation; it provides a specific perception. When you do this exercise, visualize at each chakra the image and the energy of a Master whom you know and love. Stay at each chakra for just 2-3 seconds. Feel it and see the image of the Master. After you arrive at the crown chakra, go back to the first chakra using the backward route: fifth chakra, fourth, third, second and first. When you do the backward route, see, sense and feel the Masters again in each chakra.

  • Start breathing down to the first chakra; the perineum chakra. Inhale normally, but give out a long and slow exhalation. After that, stay for 3-4 seconds in that time when you are in between the exhalation and the next inhalation. Do this exercise three times. There is a specific way to inhale for the first chakra. It is as if you are filling a bottle with water. Try to visualize that the flow of air, which is brought through your nostrils, is going down to the first chakra. Do this three times.

  • Move your attention to the second chakra; the navel chakra. Follow the same procedure as with the first chakra: inhale normally, but give out a long and slow exhalation. After that, stay for 3-4 seconds in that time when you are in between the exhalation and the next inhalation. Do this three times. There is a specific way to inhale for the second chakra. It is the same as with the first chakra: as if you are pouring water into a bottle. Try to visualize that the flow of air, which is brought through your nostrils, is going down to the navel chakra. Do this three times.

  • Move your attention to the third chakra: the heart chakra, in the middle of your chest area. Follow the same procedure as with the first two chakras. Do this three times.

  • Move your attention to the fourth chakra: the third eye chakra in the middle of your forehead. Follow the same procedure as with the first three chakras, but now, breathe in to the third eye: see, sense and feel that the flow of prana is going from the nostrils directly to the third eye. Do this three times.

  • Move your attention to the fifth chakra: the crown chakra, right on top of your head, where the fontanel is. Follow the same procedure as with the other four chakras.

  • See, sense and feel that the flow of prana is going from the nostrils directly to the third eye. Do this three times.

  • Go back now from the fifth chakra down to the first chakra, following the same breathing technique.

  • Place one palm over the other (males place their right palm over the left and females place their left palm over the right) and place them on the navel. Start doing gently anti-clockwise circles over it. Do this 27 times.

  • Now put your palms over your chest and do the same exercise for the heart center.

  • Then, place your palms over the middle of your forehead and do the same exercise for the third eye center.

  • Stay there for a few minutes and feel the three centers vibrate (navel, heart and third eye).

“This is a meditation that might take more time. Once you set yourself in the process of doing this meditation, it becomes a very powerful experience. We used to say that, when done 3 times in a meditation, we receive energy and attain stamina for the whole day; when done 9 times in a meditation, we receive energy for the whole month; when done 27 times in a meditation, our body never gets sick; when done 54 times, our body becomes light and when done 108 times, we become immortal,” and with that Karma Dorje concluded his teachings.

While doing this meditation, for the first chakra I would effortlessly visualize the image and energy of Mother Mary; for the second chakra I would see Buddha. For the third chakra I would visualize Archangel Michael, for the fourth chakra I would see Babaji and for the crown chakra I would see Jesus.

I found this meditation so powerful, that I still do it now. It is very easy to move the consciousness from one chakra to another. After I have done 27 circles over the navel, heart chakra and third eye chakra, I feel the vibration. I literally feel my body vibrating and I feel the energy moving within it. I can feel the vibration of each center (navel, heart and third eye). I feel the inner vibration.
